Resolving Stale UI Issues (How to Clear Your Cache)

Last Updated: May 17, 2026 6 Views

After a seamless Over-The-Air (OTA) update, you might occasionally notice that buttons look misaligned or certain dropdown menus aren't working. This does not mean the update failed; it simply means your web browser is holding onto older, cached versions of our styling (CSS) or logic (JavaScript) files.

How to Perform a Hard Refresh
A "Hard Refresh" forces your browser to download the newest files directly from the server, ignoring the outdated cache.

  • Windows / Linux: Press Ctrl + F5 (or Ctrl + Shift + R) while on the affected page.
  • Mac: Press Cmd + Shift + R.

If the issue persists, try opening the application in an "Incognito" or "Private Browsing" window. If it works perfectly in Incognito mode, you simply need to clear your browser's temporary files and cache via its settings menu.
